Robin Ducharme

Robin Ducharme was hired as the department's new assistant athletics director for fitness and recreation in September 2021. She was promoted to Associate Director for Recreation and Wellness in May 2023.

Ducharme comes to Babson after serving as the director of lifestyle and wellness for the WTS International in Boston since November 2019. She was responsible for managing a 50,000 square-foot private amenity space that included three pools, resident lounges, spa and four separate fitness spaces utilizing Forbes 5-star standards. Additionally, Ducharme oversaw a six-figure event budget and monthly operating expenses.

Ducharme originally got her start with WTS International in January 2018 as the director of fitness in Charlestown. In this role, she was responsible for hiring, training and supervising fitness instructors, personal trainers and massage therapists in addition to marketing and managing the business operations of the fitness department.

A 2012 graduate of Western Carolina University, Ducharme got her start as a personal trainer at the Boston Sports Club in Andover, Mass., in 2013. This was followed by an 18-month stint as a senior fitness professional at the Tewksbury Sports Club beginning in March 2015 where she delivered customized wellness programs to more than 30 private clients each week in addition to teaching group training sessions.

Prior to joining WTS International, Ducharme was a health coach at The Thoreau Club in Concord, Mass., from September 2016 through the end of 2017. She specialized in geriatric wellness and therapeutic exercise programs for disabled clients. Ducharme also developed and educated the community using branded health programs encompassing nutrition, fitness and lifestyle change.

Ducharme earned her master's degree in healthcare administration from Southern New Hampshire University in 2016.
