A four-time All-NEWMAC first-team selection and a three-time All-America selection, Nicki Wurdeman ’12 enters her fourth season as a volunteer assistant coach for the women’s basketball program in 2015.

Wurdeman, who was selected as the NEWMAC Player of the Year in each of her final three years and garnered all-region recognition in four straight seasons, graduated as the program’s all-time leading scorer with 2,042 points. She also ranks fifth all-time with 1,016 rebounds and is one of just four players in school history to surpass 1,000 points and 1,000 boards.

The Beavers enjoyed unparalleled success during Wurdeman’s career, winning four straight NEWMAC Tournament titles and reaching the NCAA  Tournament in four consecutive seasons while posting an overall record of 104-17. The Green and White went unbeaten in conference play from 2009-12 and reached the NCAA Division III Sectional Final in 2010 and again in 2011, when they finished 30-1.
