Megan Cullen was hired as the Athletics Administrator at Babson College in March 2022 and promoted to athletics facilities manager in May 2023.
Cullen comes to Babson from the Cohasset Sports Complex, where she was serving as assistant general manager since June 2021 as well as August 2017 to May 2018. She handles all administrative duties for the complex, including invoicing, camp and clinic registrations, managing field rentals and contracting, and contractor communications. She oversaw the winter indoor soccer league with team registrations, scheduling, and creating brackets and divisions. Cullen also managed the EZ Facility database and company website.
Cullen has also served as head soccer coach and administrator for the Galway Rovers FC in Cohasset, coaching the U9 and U10 girls' premier teams and assisting with coaching the Youth Academy and Jr. Rovers programs. She assists with administrative duties such as collecting and distributing team tournament waivers, creating coaches' schedules, and registrations for player try-outs.
A 2017 graduate of Lasell University, Cullen was a four-year member of the Laser women's soccer program and captain her senior season. She was named Great Northeast Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year in 2015, helped the team to four consecutive GNAC championships and four NCAA Tournament berths, and was a two-time All-New England honoree. She has been involved in coaching for several years, including stints at Holy Cross, the South Dublin (Ireland) U14 Girls' team, and Lasell, where she was recently named associate head coach.
Cullen will be responsible for providing administrative support to the department as a whole, but primarily the Senior Director of Athletics and Athletic Advancement. She will also be responsible for managing departmental projects related to Athletics and Recreation; managing relationships with a variety of campus services for the betterment of the Babson student-athletes; and providing general administrative support, acting as office manager and key support staff for the Department of Athletics and Recreation.
