Erodula

Kartik Erodula

Erodula is in his second season as assistant men's and women's tennis coach at Babson after joining the staff in December 2025.

He was a member of the 2026 New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Men's Tennis Coaching Staff of the Year after helping the team to a 19-5 overall record, the NEWMAC regular season and tournament championships, and a berth in the NCAA Division III Championships, advancing to the regional finals. He helped mentor Alexander Merson and Edward Wang, who earned berths in the NCAA Singles Championships, the first from Babson since 1998.

Erodula was also a member of the Babson women's coaching staff for a 2026 team that registered a program-best 19-5 record, captured the first NEWMAC championship since 2014 and advanced to the NCAA Division III semifinals for the first time in program history. He helped mentor senior Matia Cristiani to a perfect 37-0 singles record and the NCAA Division III singles championship and advancing to the NCAA doubles semifinals, as well as first-year Sanra Sikharilidze, who joined Cristiani in the NCAA national doubles final and appeared in the NCAA Singles semifinals.

Erodula came to Babson following a two-year stint as a tennis professional and coach at the North Haven Health and Raquet Club in North Haven, Conn. He designed and led training programs to enhance player technique, strategy and overall performance emphasizing focus, discipline and confidence under pressure. 

Additionally, Erodula conducted regular performance evaluations and created individualized development plans while tracking data to monitor player progress. 

A 2024 graduate of Trinity College with a B.S. in psychology, Erodula was a four-year member of the Bantams' men's tennis program. He served as captain in each of his final two seasons and helped Trinity qualify for the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Tournament in both 2022 and 2024.
