Chris Hall

Chris Hall is in his second season as a full-time assistant for the Babson College men's ice hockey program in 2024-25.

With over a decade of experience in the collegiate ranks, Hall came to Babson after spending five seasons as an assistant women's ice hockey coach at Merrimack College. The Warriors set a school-record for wins in his first season with the program in 2018-19, claimed their first Hockey East Tournament victory by defeating New Hampshire in 2022 and matched the feat with another opening-round triumph over Boston University in the 2023 league tournament.

Prior to his time at Merrimack, Hall served as an assistant men's ice hockey coach at Colby College from 2012-18. He served as the recruiting coordinator and worked primarily with the defense while helping the Mules record their best conference finish in a decade in 2016-17 before helping the program to one of the best seasons in its history in 2017-18. Colby captured its first NESCAC Tournament championship and won road games against the University of New England and Geneseo to advance to its first Division III Frozen Four.

Under Hall's guidance, the Mules' led the conference in defensemen scoring in 2015-16 while ranking third on the penalty kill, and his goaltenders finished the 2017-18 ranked third nationally in save percentage.

A 2009 graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a degree in history, Hall served as a student assistant for the Fighting Irish from 2005-10. He spent the 2010-11 campaign as a volunteer assistant coach for the Amherst College men's ice hockey program and was an assistant coach at the University of Massachusetts in 2011-12.
