Miller, the founder of T R Miller Co., Inc., is in his 13th season as an assistant coach for the Babson College men's golf program in 2025-26, and is also in his third season as an assistant coach for the Babson women's golf program that started in 2023-24.

The Babson men turned in another strong season in 2024-25, posting four top-five results in eight tournaments, including a pair of top-four showings last fall on the way to finishing with his program ranked 24th in the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) Division III poll and 22nd in the Scoreboard computer rankings.

The Babson women's squad had an impressing second season in 2024-25, placing first in three tournaments, including the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Championships, and finishing in the top four in five of eight events. The Beavers earning their first national ranking in the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) poll and and got as high as No. 12 in the Scoreboard Division III rankings.

The Babson men are coming off another outstanding campaign in 2023-24, which culminated with head coach Jeff Page receiving his third straight Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) Division III Region I Coach of the Year honor and fourth overall. The Beavers earned a pair of tournament wins, four top-three results and two other top-six finishes in eight tournaments, and had one All-American and five All-Region selections. The Green and White ended the season ranked 16th in the GCAA Division III coaches' poll and 19th in the Scoreboard computer rankings.

The Babson women's squad had a successful inaugural campaign in 2023-24 that included a fourth-place finish at the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Championship and a runner-up showing at the Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate in Jacksonville, N.C.

Those results came on the heels of a successful season campaign in 2022-23 that finished with the men's program ranked 21st in the final Division III Bushnell Golfweek poll. The Beavers had one All-American and five All-Region selections and Page was named the GCAA Region I Coach of the Year.

Miller helped the Babson men's program to four conference championships (2014-17) and four NCAA Tournament appearances, including one of the most successful campaigns in program history in 2021-22. After winning five consecutive regular season tournaments, the Beavers earned a berth in the 2022 NCAA Championship tournament and placed in a tie for 12th, the highest finish at the Division III Championships. Babson also had four selections on the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) All-America team, including the initial First Team honoree.

After finishing second at the NECC Championship in 2013, the Beavers captured four consecutive conference titles between 2014-17 and made three NCAA Division III Championship appearances from 2015-17. The Green and White placed 25th in 2017 and posted the program's lowest 36-hole score in NCAA Tournament competition since 2001. 

Babson left the NECC to join the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) prior to the 2018-19 campaign and finished second in its first year in the league. The Beavers won four of nine tournaments on the year and earned their first known national ranking in October and remained in the top 25 throughout the remainder of the season. 

The Green and White continued its success winning four times and finishing no worse than fourth in seven tournaments in the fall of 2019. Babson posted the top scoring average (292.21) in program history and finished the year ranked a program-best 15th in the final GCAA Bushnell Golfweek Division III poll.

Along with his work for T R Miller Co. Inc., Miller is also the co-founder of the One for Health Foundation and is an advisory board member for the Get A Grip Golf Foundation and Men For A Cause. He is a two-time winner of the Senior Club Championship at Wellesley Country Club and won his first Super Senior Championship at WCC in July 2022.
