Career Highlights

2024: As a senior, competed in the throws at 10 meets…started his season with strong performances in three events at the Ross and Sharon Irwin Collegiate Meet on March 16, placing third in the shot put (53-feet, 2.25-inches), 10th in the hammer (144-feet, 8-inches) and 16th in the discus (123-feet, 10-inches)...finished 22nd in the shot put (51-feet, 4.5-inches) at the Raleigh Relays at NC State University on March 29...posted three top-five finishes at the Tufts Snowflake Classic on March 30, winning the shot put (53-feet, 1.75-inches) and finishing second in the hammer (151-feet, 10-inches) and fifth in the discus (126-feet, 8-inches)...placed second in the shot put (53-feet, 7.75-inches), third in the hammer (158-feet, 10-inches) and ninth in the discus (117-feet even) at the Coast Guard Invitational on April 6…won the shot put (55-feet even), took third in the hammer (career-best 162-feet, 9-inches) and sixth in the discus (135-feet, 8-inches) at the Connecticut College Silfen Invitational on April 13…posted his second straight and third win of the season in the shot put (55-feet, 2.75-inches) at MIT’s Sean Collier Invitational on April 20 while finishing ninth in the discus (132-feet, 10-inches) and 12th in the hammer (149-feet even)...recorded three top-three finishes at the NEWMAC Championships on April 26-27, winning the shot put title (56-feet, 4.5-inches), finishing runner-up in the discus (135-feet, 8-inches) and placing third in the hammer (153-feet, 2-inches)...won his second straight shot put crown at the New England Division III Championships with a throw of 56-feet, 1.25-inches on May 6, while also placing 17th in the hammer (159-feet, 3-inches) and 28th in the discus (121-feet, 2-inches)...placed second in the shot put (54-feet even) and 13th in the discus (127-feet, 3-inches) at the MIT Final Qualifier on May 16...finished eighth to earn All-America honors in the shot put with a throw of 54-feet, 6.5 inches at the NCAA Division III Championships on May 24...finished his career with the top 10 marks in the shot put and discus in program history, and nine of the top 10 in the hammer throw.

2023: As a junior, competed in the throws at 10 meets…came in sixth with a then-school-record throw of 48-feet, 3.5-inches in the shot put at the Ross and Sharon Irwin Collegiate Meet on March 18…reset his top mark and finishes first in the shot put (52-feet, 3.25-inches) and came in fourth in the discus (126-feet, 10-inches at the Bridgewater State Invitational on March 25…took second in the shot put (52-feet, 4.5-inches), third in the discus (133-feet, 1-inch) and fifth in the hammer throw (137-feet, 4-inches) at the Tufts SnowFlake Classic on April 1…bettered his mark to win the shot put (53-feet, 6.5-inches) and took seventh in the hammer (146-feet, 10-inches) and ninth in the discus (125-feet, 9-inches) at the Coast Guard Invitational on April 8…also won the shot put (54-feet, 1-inch) and was fifth in the discus (134-feet, 6-inches) at the Connecticut College Silfen Invitational on April 15…set a new school record in the discus with a throw of 140-feet, 1-inch at MIT’s Sean Collier Invitational on April 22…finished second in the shot put (54-feet, 1.25-inches), third in the hammer (151-feet) and fifth in the discus (128-feet, 11-inches) at the NEWMAC Championships on April 29-30…won the shot put at the New England Division III Championships with a throw of 55-feet, 10.5-inches on May 6…followed it up by coming in third with a school-record throw of 56-feet, 8.75-inches in the shot put at the NEICAAA Championships on May 13…recorded a top throw of 52-feet, 8.75-inches to finish 12th in the prelims at the NCAA Division III Championships on May 26. 

2022: As a sophomore, took part in eight meets…competed primarily in the shot put, discus and hammer throw…broke a 2005 school record with a throw of 46-feet, 3.25-inches in the shot put at the season-opening Ross and Sharon Irwin Collegiate Meet on March 19…came in first in the shot put (47-feet, 10-inches) and recorded a throw of 110-feet, 6-inches in the hammer at the Bridgewater State Invitational on March 26…finished first in the shot put (47-feet, 2.25-inches) and discus (124-feet, 3-inches), second with a season-best result of 119-feet, 11-inches in the hammer and fourth in the javelin (113-feet, 11-inches) at the Wellesley Invitational on April 2…was the runner-up in the shot put (47-feet, 3.75-inches), came in sixth in the discus (121-feet, 11-inches) and finished eighth in the hammer (109-feet) at the Coast Guard Invitational on April 9…placed first in the shot put with a throw of 48-feet, 4.5-inches) and recorded throws of 124-feet, 2-inches in the discus and 110-feet, 4-inches in the hammer at the Silfen Invitational on April 15-16…broke his own school record with a season-best toss of 48-feet, 9.5-inches to finish second in the shot put and also posted his top result of the year (124-feet, 6-inches) in the discus at MIT’s Sean Collier Invitational on April 23…placed third in the shot put (48-feet, 0.75-inches) and seventh in the discus (118-feet, 11-inces) at the NEWMAC Championships on April 30…placed 10th in the shot put with a throw of 46-feet, 1.5-inches at the Division III New England Championships on May 7.

2021: As a first-year, competed in three meets…took part in the javelin, shot put, discus and hammer throw…came in second in the shot put and discus and third in the javelin with a season-best toss of 132-feet, 6-inches in his collegiate debut at UMass Dartmouth on April 10…won the discus with a throw of 112-feet, 10-inches and placed second in both the shot put (40-feet, 1.25-inches) and javelin (104-feet, 3-inches) against Brandeis and Plymouth State on April 17…finished fifth with a season-best toss of 122-feet, 9-inches in the discus, was sixth with a personal best of 41-feet, 3.25-inches in the shot put and placed eighth with his top result of the spring (93-feet, 9-inches) in the hammer throw at the NEWMAC Championships on May 2.
