    Assistant Coach
Lauren Abdow '23 in in her second season as assistant coach for the Babson men's and women's alpine ski program in 2024-25.

In her first season as assistant coach, Abdow helped led the Babson men's team to first place at the United States Collegiate Ski & Snowboard Association (USCSA) Eastern Regional Championships for the second time in three seasons, and qualified for the USCSA National Championships for the 16th consecutive season. She helped guide the women's squad to a runner-up finish at the Eastern Regionals and an eighth straight appearance at the USCSA Nationals, where they placed second in the slalom, fourth in the giant slalom, and third in the combined standings.

A 2023 graduate of Babson, Abdow enjoyed an outstanding career on the hill for the Beavers. She finished atop the MacConnell Division individual leaderboard in 2023 to help Babson secure the program's first conference championship since 1992. Abdow won four times and finished no worse than third over the first nine races to become the first female competitor in program history to earn MacConnell Division Skier of the Year honors. As a team, the Beavers opened the winter with three consecutive victories in the slalom and followed up a second-place finish in their first giant slalom race of the year with five more first-place results to secure the first title in three decades.

Babson also finished first in the combined standings at the USCSA Eastern Regional Championships for the first time in school history and came in sixth at nationals although heavy snow limited all 26 teams to just one of four schedule runs.Â
