NACDA Learfield Directors' Cup Standings
The Learfield Directors' Cup, which is an award given annually by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) to the colleges and universities with the most success in collegiate athletics, was developed as a joint effort between the NACDA and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships. Overall, up to 18 total sports may count towards the final Directors' Cup standings, four of which must be men's basketball and soccer, and women's basketball and soccer, leaving the next 14 highest points scored to also be counted.Â
The Directors' Cup has been awarded annually since 1996 to the most successful program in Division III, which is comprised of more than 430 institutions.Â
