2025 Women's Doubles National Champions - Olivia Soffer '25 and Matia Cristiani '26

Olivia Soffer '25 and Matia Cristiani '26 claimed their second consecutive national title and eighth in school history by winning the NCAA Division III Doubles championship in Claremont, Calif., on May 27, 2025. 

Soffer and Cristiani, who were seeded third in the 16-team draw, won four consecutive straight-set matches over Memorial Day weekend to become the first Division III doubles pairing to capture back-to-back NCAA titles since 2016. The duo finished hte year with an overall record of 26-2, which included winning their final 17 matches, and ended their three-year run with a record of 81-8 and three straight appearances in the NCAA doubles final. 

Soffer and Cristiani dispatched Oliwia and Sylwia Mikos of Chicago in straight sets in the opening round before breezing to a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Brooke Despriet and Ansley Carpenter of Sewanee in the quarterfinals. Soffer and Cristiani faced an early deficit in the opening set before winning eight straight games on the way to defeating Alisha Chulani and Rebecca Kong of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps in the semifinals, and then avenged one of their two losses on the year by defeating the top-ranked duo of Nina Farhat and Sahana Raman of Middlebury in the final, 6-2, 6-2.
