Babson College

Presented to a senior (possibly male and female) athlete who has demonstrated excellence in the classroom as well as in his or her sport.  Academic preference would be Dean’s List but solid academic (above the all college average) work combined with outstanding athletic ability. This carries tremendous weight in determining these individuals. The athletic accomplishments should parallel the Athlete of the Class criteria.  These athletic accomplishments will be weighted heavily in determining the recipients.  Non-athletic accomplishments play some importance. Academic standing is accountable and community behavior and respectability is important. These recipients must be highly respected by the academic as well as the athletic community and must be at least a three-year student/athlete. (Please note that this awards strongly considers athleticism in addition to academic success).
