Health Services hopes to enhance students' learning and overall experiences at Babson by assisting them in maintaining optimum physical and emotional health.
Our mission in Health Services is to assist Babson students in maintaining optimum physical and emotional health through the provision of high quality, comprehensive medical care in combination with health education and wellness services that are both easily accessible and cost effective.
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)
CAPS provides psychological support to students as they pursue their academic and personal goals at Babson College. Services provided include consultation, assessment, short-term counseling, and referrals for longer-term counseling. Interactions with CAPS are confidential and will not be shared with anyone without a student's written authorization. Common reasons students seek counseling support are:
- Stress
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Family/Peer/Relationship Concerns
- Homesickness/Adjustment Concerns
- Body Image/Food Concerns
Eating Well
A Registered Dietitian is available to meet with students for individual nutrition counseling. The dietician works in collaboration with the health care team to assist students in maintaining optimal health and well-being. Appointments can be made (September - May) to see the dietitian by calling Health Services at 781-239-6363. The dietician takes appointments on Tuesdays from 10:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
