BABSON PARK, Mass.— The trio of seniors Caroline Adams (Norwich, Vt.) and Skylar Lach (Washington, D.C.) and first-year Parker Hanson (New Canaan, Conn.) combined for 18 points on eight goals and 10 assists as No. 1 IWLCA/No. 1 USA Lacrosse Magazine Middlebury College rolled past RV/No. 18 Babson College, 18-3, in non-conference women's lacrosse action Sunday afternoon at MacDowell Field.
With the victory, Middlebury remained undefeated on the season at 10-0 while Babson had a two-game winning steak snapped and dropped to 5-3 overall.

Jenna Wong (Walpole, Mass.),
Margaux Boneu (Portsmouth, R.I.) and
Hailey Murray (Swarthmore, Pa.) each scored a goal for the Beavers and senior
Lilly Bedard (Jupiter, Fla.) had an assist. First-year
Allie Collins (Sudbury, Mass.) collected a game-high four draw controls, Wong had a team-high two shots on goal, and junior
Morgan McGahan (Ho Ho Kus, N.J.) and
Francesca Tamburini (North Bend, Wash.) combined for seven saves in the Beaver goal in the setback.
Adams finished with four goals and three assists, Lach scored three goals and added a pair of assists, and Hanson notched one goal and added a career-high five assists for a career-high six points for the Panthers. Senior Haley Hamilton (Hamilton, Mass.) and first-year Maggie Spehr (Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y.) scored three times each, senior Caroline Messer (Old Greenwich, Conn.) and first-year Jaime Patton-Martin (Norwich, Vt.) caused four turnovers apiece, and Messer scooped up a game-high six ground balls in the victory.
Lach gave the visitors a 1-0 lead 73 seconds into the game, but the Beavers kept the Panthers off the board for nearly seven minutes and tied the game on a free-position woman up goal with 7:06 to go in the opening frame. Middlebury came alive with Lach's second goal 16 seconds later, Hamilton followed with two unanswered goals, and Hanson scored late in the first period as the Panthers pulled ahead, 5-1.
Boneu scored for Babson with 36 seconds left in the first quarter to cut the margin to 5-2, but Middlebury rattled off 12 unanswered goals while holding the Beavers off the scoreboard for the next 40 minutes. Adams scored twice in the second quarter and Hamilton, Lach, and sophomore Siobhan Colin (Canton, Mass.) scored once each as the Panthers took a 10-2 advantage by halftime.
Adams scored twice again in the third frame while sophomore Maeve Lee (Hanover, N.H.) and junior Maddie Ackerman (Tewksbury, N.J.) added one each with assists from Hanson. Spehr chipped in with a pair to start the fourth quarter, also from assists by Hanson, and junior Maddie Ocampo (Sandwich, Mass.) pushed the lead to 17-2 in less than nine minutes remaining.
Murray scored her 11th goal of the season for Babson with 5:31 to play, and Spehr added one more to close out the scoring for Middlebury.
Babson resumes conference play on Wednesday with a visit to Emerson for a 6 p.m. contest. Middlebury returns home to welcome No. 2 Wesleyan to Peter Kohn Field on Saturday at 12:00 p.m.
GAME NOTES
• Babson has dropped seven in a row and is 1-8 all-time against Middlebury in a series that dates back to 2009.
• The Beavers suffered their first home loss of the season (4-1) and are 18-3 at home since the start of the 2024 season, with two of the three losses to Middlebury.
• Wong has scored in seven of her eight outings this spring for the Beavers.
