CLERMONT, Fla.—Junior Lexi Sealey (Pleasant Hill, Calif.) went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored at the plate and gave up just three hits in a complete-game shutout in the circle to help Babson College defeat the University of New England 8-0 in five innings to earn a split of Wednesday's games at Hancock Park.

Babson 8, UNE 0 (5 inn.)
Senior Allie Cubberly (Lagrangeville, N.Y.) doubled and drove in two runs, junior Devin McCall (Virginia Beach, Va.) had an RBI double and scored twice, and juniors Ruby Madia (Princeton Junction, N.J.) and Charlotte Raymond (Wrentham, Mass.), sophomore Belle DiCampello (Pottstown, Pa.) and first-year Izzy Burgess (Royersford, Pa.) each knocked in a run for the Beavers, who are now 4-4. Sealey struck out one and walked one to record her first win of the year.

Senior Sophia Pak (New Rochelle, N.Y.) led off the second with a single and later scored on a passed ball, while Cubberly followed with a two-out single to center that plated McCall for a 2-0 lead. The Green and White sent 10 batters to the plate in the third and got an RBI double from DiCampello and RBI singles from Raymond, McCall and Madia as part of a five-run uprising that extended the margin to 7-0.

Sealey led off the bottom of the fourth with a double to deep center and moved to third on a ground out before scoring on Burgess' sacrifice fly to make it an eight-run game. She then worked around and error and a walk to complete the shutout in the top of the fifth.

Junior Liv Arvidson (Tilton, N.H.) shouldered the loss for the Nor'easters (1-4) after allowing seven runs on six hits over 2.1 innings.

Ramapo 11, Babson 3 (5 inn.)
Sealey and sophomore Maddy DeLong (Cranford, N.J.) both doubled and scored a run, while McCall added an RBI single for the Beavers. First-year Anna Topel (Oak Park, Ill.) dropped to 2-2 with the loss after giving up three earned runs over 1.2 innings.

Senior Kori Gargiulo (Hazlet, N.J.) went 3-for-4 with a double, a homer and three RBI, classmate Avery Kontura (Hamilton, N.J.) was 2-for-3 with two RBI and three runs scored, and junior Clay'le Correa-Vanness (Hillsborough, N.J.) singled twice, swiped two bags and scored a pair of runs to lead the Roadrunners. Senior Brooke Knight (Toms River, N.J.) improved to 3-0 with the win, striking out one and allowing just one hit over three shutout innings of relief.

Ramapo sent 10 batters to the plate in the first inning and took advantage of a pair of bases-load walks and a two-out RBI single by senior Lia Milsom (Roxbury, N.J.) to build a 4-0 advantage. Babson got on the board in the top of the third as DeLong reached on an error and scored on a double steal, Sealey brought home Walsh with double to deep left and then scored on an RBI ground out by McCall to cut the deficit to 5-3.

Gargiulo responded with a two-run blast to left pushing the margin back to 7-3 and the Roadrunners exploded for four more runs in the bottom of the fifth to end the game. Kontura got things started with a two-run single, Gargiulo doubled to bring her home and then scored the final run on an RBI knock by first-year Paley Sullivan (Tigard, Ore.).
