Men's Basketball's Brennan Set to Appear on Hoopsville Thursday Night

BABSON PARK, Mass.—Babson College head men's basketball coach Stephen Brennan is set to appear on Thursday night's edition of Hoopsville with Dave McHugh. The interview is set to air live at approximately 8 p.m.

The 2017 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division III Coach of the Year, Brennan's Beavers have matched the best start in program history at 9-0 after defeating Salem State and Tufts to capture the program's fourth New England Big 4 Challenge title in six seasons last Sunday. The Green and White has four players scoring in double figures and ranks second in Division III in assist-to-turnover ratio, seventh in field goal percentage and eighth in scoring margin.

Brennan, who guided the program to a national championship in 2017 and the Final Four in 2015, will be making his fourth appearance on Hoopsville since December 2015.

Hoopsville, which hit the air for the first time in 2000, was created by McHugh and is in its 17th year as the only show dedicated to Division III basketball. The show runs from 7-9 p.m. every Thursday and Sunday during the season as McHugh talks with coaches, players, administrators, reporters and experts from around the country on all the top news in Division III men's and women's basketball. Archives of each show are available on demand.

Tune in and listen live as Brennan talks about his squad's start to the season and the challenges ahead when New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) play begins in January.
