Stone, Lake, Mercer Lead Women's Tennis To Victory On Senior Day
Senior tri-captains Ashley Lake (Brockton, Mass.), Rebecca Stone (Dover, Mass.), and Monica Mercer (Woodinville, Wash.) combined for three of their team’s eight points to lead host Babson College to an 8-1 victory over visiting Salve Regina at the Farwell Courts on Friday afternoon. With the win, the Beavers finish the year with an overall record of 13-7 – the program’s best mark in three years.

Women's Tennis Comes Up Short Against Wesleyan
BABSON PARK, Mass.—Babson College senior Rebecca Stone (Dover, Mass.) collected wins at number three singles and number two doubles but it wasn’t enough as the Beavers fell to Wesleyan University, 7-2, this afternoon in non-conference women’s tennis action at the Farwell Courts. The Cardinals took two of the three doubles matches and then grabbed wins in five of the six singles matches to secure the victory.

Women's Tennis Snaps Simmons' Win Streak With 9-0 Rout
The Babson College women's tennis team handed host Simmons College just its fourth loss the year on Saturday, as the Beavers notched a 9-0 victory over the Sharks. Snapping a three-match slide, Babson improved to 12-6 overall, while the Sharks saw their 12-match win streak come to an end as they fell to 12-4.

BABSON PARK, Mass.—The Babson College women’s tennis team opened up New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) play with a 7-2 victory over visiting Mount Holyoke College Saturday afternoon at Farwell Courts. The Beavers are off to a 4-0 start for the fifth consecutive season, and they have now beaten the Lyons in eight consecutive matches dating back to 2006. Babson got off to a quick start taking two out of three doubles matches and continued their strong play winning five of six singles matches to stay undefeated.

Women's Tennis Posts Fall Portion of 2011-12 Schedule
The Babson College women's tennis team recently released the fall portion of its 2011-12 season. The slate includes 12 dual matches and two individual tournaments. For the eighth consecutive year, the Beavers will open their season against Roger Williams, with this fall's tilt taking place on the road on September 1. Babson then opens its home schedule with a double-header against both Nichols and Colby-Sawyer on September 4 before heading back on the road to face Simmons on September 6.
