A veteran member of the Babson coaching staff, Rick Echlov is currently in his 29th year as the College's aquatics director and men's and women's swimming coach. Echlov, who also served as Babson's director of summer programs until 2006, is respected as a strong motivator whose training programs have produced 12 All-Americans and numerous All-New England athletes.

The only head coach the women's swimming and diving program has ever known, Echlov has led the Beavers to a total of 138 victories in the team's 27 years of existence. His squad also earned CSAA Scholar All-America honors in 2011-12 and the NEWMAC Sportsmanship Award in 2009-10.

Echlov also boasts 212 wins as coach of the men's program, giving him a total of 350 victories in his Babson career. This past winter, he was named NEWMAC Men's Swimming Coach of the Year for the first time in his career.
