BRISTOL, R.I.—The Babson College men's swimming & diving team picked up its eighth victory of the year and Beavers' first-year Jordan Mailly (Glastonbury, Conn.) set a school record in the 400-yard individual medley in dual meet action on Saturday afternoon at the Roger Williams University Aquatics Center.
The Green and White defeated the host Hawks, 155-133, in the men's competition, while Babson fell to Eastern Connecticut State (139-131) and Roger Williams (196-90) on the women's side.
Mailly won three individual races and broke Mallory Mosk's '12 school record set during the 2008-09 season with a time of 4:49.51 in the 400 IM by nearly a second in her final event of the afternoon. She also came in first in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:04.10 and the 500 free with a time of 5:30.31.
