Liska, D'Agostino Earn NEWMAC Softball Post-Season Honors

BABSON PARK, Mass. - Babson College junior Danielle Liska (Seymour, Conn.) has been named to the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Softball All-Conference First Team and senior Kim D'Agostino (Woburn, Mass.) has been named to the NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Team.
This year's honor marks the first for Liska, a right-handed pitcher who ended the season with an overall record of 14-10 with a 1.67 era and 149 strikeouts. She was named NEWMAC Pitcher of the Week on April 6th after helping lead the Beavers to a sweep of NEWMAC opponent Smith College. Liska now has an overall career record of 32-19 tying her for fourth in all-time career wins and is third all-time with 333 career strikeouts.
D'Agostino's Academic All-Conference award is the third of her career. In her senior season, D'Agostino played in 40 games with 38 starts. She had a .984 fielding percentage playing centerfield for the Beavers and had 10 hits on the season.
The Beavers ended the season with an overall record of 20-22 marking the sixth straight 20 win season for Babson Softball and the seventh in program history.
