Jessica DiPhilippo '14 begins her second year as an assistant coach, and first in a full-time capacity, for the Babson College women's soccer program in 2017.
DiPhilippo, who served as a part-time assistant coach last fall, was a four-year standout for the Beavers from 2011-14. A four-time All-New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) selection and two-time National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-New England honoree, DiPhilippo scored 22 goals and recorded 24 assists in 74 career matches. She ranks second in program history in assists, eighth in points (68) and is tied for 10th all-time in goals.
The Green and White won 10 or more matches three times during DiPhilippo's career, which includes a 12-4-3 mark in 2014 when she served as team captain. The Beavers also reached the conference tournament semifinals in each of her final three seasons.
DiPhilippo, who graduated with a degree in business management, comes to Babson after working as a relationship manager and a recruiter for The Bowdoin Group in Waltham since June 2015. Additionally, she held a sports marketing internship with EPS Communications during her final semester as an undergraduate student.
In addition to her coaching duties, DiPhilippo will also serve as an assistant athletics communications director.
