A former star at Harvard University, Meredith Carey is in her third season as an assistant coach for the Babson women's soccer program.
Prior to graduating in 2001, Carey enjoyed an outstanding four-year career at Harvard, helping the team earn a pair of Ivy League Championships and a trip to the NCAA Tournament's Elite Eight in 1997. As a senior in 2000, she was named to the All-New England Senior Team, was an Umbro Select All-Star, and was invited to the WUSA College combine.
Carey earned her Master's Degree in Applied Anatomy and Physiology from Boston University in 2002 before serving as an exercise physiologist at FitCorp until 2005. She has since worked as a Director of Programming and Education at Competitive Athlete Training Zone (CATZ) and in 2009 served as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Boston Breakers. Carey also coached the Massachusetts Division 1 Premier Girls Youth Team of the Charles River United Soccer Club from 2001-2009, and she served as an assistant coach at Northeastern University from 2004 to 2009.
