Women's Soccer's DiPhilippo Earns Second NEWMAC Offensive Player of the Week Honor

BABSON PARK, Mass. -- For the second time this season, Babson College first-year Jessica DiPhilippo (Falmouth, Maine) has been named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.

DiPhilippo scored the game's lone goal to lift Babson to a 1-0 win at Coast Guard in the team's only match of the week on Saturday. The first-year forward converted an Ashley Tourso feed at 14:25 for what would prove to be her team-leading fourth game-winning goal of the season.

DiPhilippo now leads the team with six goals and two assists for 14 points in her rookie campaign. This is her second Player of the Week honor and the fifth overall for the Beavers, who are now 11-2-1 overall and a perfect 6-0-0 in the conference.

Babson will face its toughest NEWMAC foe to date on Tuesday, when the Beavers travel to Norton for a 3 p.m. showdown with 17th-ranked Wheaton College.
