After rewriting the program's record books and leading their team to four consecutive NEWMAC Championships and NCAA Tournament appearances, Babson College women's lacrosse senior captains Anna Collins (Winchester, Mass.) and Kaitlyn Pettengill (Hopkinton, Mass.) received the final honors of their magnificent careers on Wednesday. Collins became the first player in program history to be named to the IWLCA All-America First Team, while Pettengill was named to the IWLCA All-America Third Team. Also named ECAC New England Offensive Player of the Year and ECAC All-New England First Team earlier this week, Collins garners All-America honors for the third straight season, making her the only three-time national honoree in Babson women's lacrosse history. Meanwhile, Pettengill garners her second straight All-America Third Team award. [+]

Five Babson College womens lacrosse players have earned Intercollegiate Womens Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-New England Berkshire Region honors announced recently. Senior captain Kaitlyn Pettengill (Hopkinton, Mass.) earned her fourth straight First Team honor while classmate and fellow captain Anna Collins (Winchester, Mass.) earned her third consecutive First Team award. Also joining Pettengill and Collins on the First Team were junior Alyssa Hood (Newport, R.I.) and sophomore Trisha Babson (Duxbury, Mass.). This years award marks the first All-New England honor for Hood and the second for Trisha Babson after earning a spot on the Second Team in 2009. Also earning her first All-Region honor of her career was junior goalkeeper Sarah Macary (Woodbury, Conn.) who was selected to the All-New England Second Team. [+]

After missing the colleges commencement activities this past Saturday due to the NCAA Division III Womens Lacrosse Tournament regional in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, four Babson College womens lacrosse players were honored Monday evening at the Glavin Chapel on the Babson campus in a special commencement ceremony. Seniors Laura Bronner (Greenwich, Conn.), Anna Collins (Winchester, Mass.), Marisa Monaco (Quincy, Mass.), and Kaitlyn Pettengill (Hopkinton, Mass.) all received their diplomas during Mondays commencement ceremony. Holding a special ceremony for our four seniors was such a wonderful statement about how supported the student-athletes are here at Babson, said head coach Kully Reardon. I am so proud of the seniors and even more proud to be a member of the warm and supportive Babson Community. [+]
