Carroll Set to Take Part in IWLCA North-South All-Star Game

BABSON PARK, Mass.—Babson College senior Delaney Carroll (Acton, Mass.) will conclude her career when she takes part in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division III North-South Senior All-Star game on Saturday afternoon.

Carroll was one of 44 Division III players selected to play in the third of three contests on Saturday. The Division III game kicks off at 2 p.m. on Tierney Field at the US Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md. She is just the third Babson player to take part in the prestigious event and first since 2013.

A 2016 IWLCA All-America selection and a two-time all-region honoree, Carroll ranks fifth in program history with 149 ground balls and 98 caused turnovers. She forced a career-high 40 turnovers in 20 games this past spring while collecting 48 ground balls to lead the Beavers.

A three-time All-New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) selection, Carroll helped Babson capture its first league tournament championship since 2011 back in May. The Beavers finished the year at 14-6 overall after reaching the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
