THE SETUP
• Babson will host the Judy Pearson '85 Memorial Tournament on Sunday and Monday inside Staake Gymnasium.
• The Beavers will face Salve Regina at 1 p.m., while St. Lawrence takes on UMass Dartmouth at 3 p.m. on Sunday. The championship game is set for 2 p.m. on Monday and will be preceded by the consolation game at 12 p.m.

BABSON VS. THE TOURNAMENT FIELD
Salve Regina
• Babson is 11-5 all-time against the Seahawks in a series that dates back to the 1982-83 campaign.
• The Beavers, who have dropped two straight in the all-time series, and Salve Regina have not met since 2003.

St. Lawrence
• Babson and the Saints have met just twice previously.
• St. Lawrence defeated the Beavers at the Surf City Classic in 2006 and the Green and White won the first matchup between the programs at the Wheaton Tournament back in 2000.

UMass Dartmouth
• The Beavers are 2-4 all-time against the Corsairs in a series that dates back to the 1984-85 season.
• UMass Dartmouth defeated Babson, 70-62, in the first matchup between the programs on December 30, 2016, inside Staake Gymnasium.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (7-2) extended its winning streak to five with a 71-55 victory over Plattsburgh in Miami back on December 19.
• Senior Payton Ouimette finished with 17 points and 11 rebounds and junior Emily Bonifacic added 13 points and 12 boards for the Beavers, who led by as many as 22 in the third quarter.
• Ouimette (13.8 pts, 12.2 reb) has posted three consecutive double-doubles, junior Katherine Tamulionis is averaging 10.8 points and 2.8 rebounds, and Bonifacic (9.2 pts, 6.0 reb) is shooting 55 percent over the last four games.
• The Green and White ranks 12th in Division III pulling down 18.2 offensive rebounds per outing.

SCOUTING THE SEAHAWKS
• Salve Regina (3-6) is looking to keep up the momentum after picking up a 67-54 win over Johnson & Wales back on December 8.
• Senior Kerri Beland scored a game-high 26 points and junior Torie Scorpio added 16 points and five assists for the Seahawks, who went 16-of-20 at the free throw line in the fourth quarter.
• Scorpio (14.2 pts, 3.1 ast) is shooting 47.5 percent, Beland (13.4 pts, 8.0 reb) is averaging 17.8 points over her last five outings, and senior Tara Burke (9.5 pts, 4.9 reb) is averaging a team-high 2.8 offensive boards per game.
• Salve Regina has averaged better than 70 points in its three wins but just 53.8 points in its losses this season.

SCOUTING THE SAINTS
• St. Lawrence (5-3) has won three of its last four games and is coming off an 86-56 rout of SUNY Canton back on December 14.
• First-year Ava McCann shot 8-of-10 from beyond the arc and scored a career-high 27 points, while sophomore Katie Frederick added 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Saints, who shot 54.1 percent in the victory.
• Frederick (11.4 pts, 11.8 reb) has posted five double-doubles, first-year Chelsea Van Tassel (9.1 pts, 6.1 reb) is shooting 43.1 percent from the floor, and McCann (7.4 pts) is the team's top three-point shooter at 44.4 percent.
• St. Lawrence ranks ninth in Division III with a +14.9 rebounding margin.

SCOUTING THE CORSAIRS
• UMass Dartmouth (8-1) is riding a two-game winning streak after beating Johnson & Wales 81-58 back on December 11.
• Senior Nakira Examond finished with 22 points and 13 rebounds to post her sixth double-double and classmate Jess Korzec added 17 points for the Corsairs, who shot 43.8 percent and pulled away with a 32-point fourth quarter.
• Examond (18.4 pts, 10.4 reb) ranks 11th nationally with a 60.2 shooting percentage, Korzec (14.3 pts, 4.3 reb, 3.1 ast) leads the team with 21 steals and junior Ashley Brown is contributing 12.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and a team-high 4.5 assists.
• UMass Dartmouth has held its first nine opponents to just 34.9 percent shooting while forcing 21.9 turnovers per outing.

REMEMBERING JUDY PEARSON
• Judy Pearson '85 enjoyed a legendary career and became the first woman inducted into the Babson College Athletics Hall of Fame in 1991. She was the first woman in program history to exceed 1,000 career points and her career average 20.9 points per game is still a school record more than 30 years later. She ended her career with 1,758 points, which is good for fourth in program history, 814 rebounds and 189 steals. She also owns a school record with 530 made free throws and her 9.69 rebounds per game ranks third on Babson's all-time list.

PATROLLING THE PAINT
• Ouimette and Bonifacic both recorded back-to-back double-doubles in the Beavers' wins over Cal Lutheran and Plattsburgh in Miami on December 18-19.
• Over the last four games, Ouimette is averaging 14.8 points and 12.5 boards, while Bonifacic is shooting 55 percent and averaging 12.0 points and 9.0 rebounds.

THIRD QUARTER SURGE
• During its current five-game winning streak, the Green and White is averaging 22.2 points and has outscored its foes by nine points per contest in the third quarter.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
• The Beavers are 6-0 this season and have gone 22-2 going back to the start of last season when holding their opponents below 60 points.
