BABSON PARK, Mass.—Babson College head men's and women's cross country coach Russ Brennen unveiled his program's 2019 schedule on Tuesday morning. The Beavers will compete in four races prior to kick off the postseason in early November.
The Green and White begins its season with a dual meet at Wheaton for the fifth year in a row on August 30. The Beavers travel to Fitchburg State for the Jim Sheenan Memorial Invitational for the first time in program history on September 7, which is followed by an Alumni Meet on campus as part of the College's Centennial Celebration on September 21.
Babson will return to competition at the Keene State Invitational on October 5 before closing out its regular season slate at the Western New England Invitational on October 19. The Beavers will serve as the host institution for the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championships at Boston's Franklin Park on November 3.
The postseason will continue with the NCAA New England Championships on November 16, which will be held at Bowdoin's Pickard Field Course in Brunswick, Maine, for the second year in a row.
