Babson College senior Aaron Paradis (Norwich, Conn.) competed at the 2010 NCAA Division III National Championships at the University of Minnesota on Wednesday, where he placed 11th overall in the 3-meter diving competition to earn Honorable Mention All-America status for the first time in his magnificent career. Appearing in his second NCAA Championship meet, Paradis qualified for the consolation final in the 3-meter dive by posting a preliminary score of 406.10. He then recorded a final score of 432.55 to finish third in the consolation and 11th overall - seven places higher than his previous best performance at nationals. [+]

After posting a top-three finish in both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events at the recent NEWMAC Championships, Babson College senior Aaron Paradis (Norwich, Conn.) has been selected to compete at the 2010 NCAA Division III Championships for the second time in his outstanding career. One of 22 divers selected, Paradis will join fellow NEWMAC divers Brian Sobel and Matt Fitzgerald of Springfield at the 2010 NCAA Championships at the University Aquatic Center at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. The men's 3-meter competition will take place on Wednesday, March 17, while the 1-meter event will be held on Friday, March 19. [+]

Senior Aaron Paradis (Norwich, Conn.) finished second overall in the 3-meter diving competition to earn Second Team All-Conference honors as the Babson College men's swimming and diving team completed its weekend at the 2010 NEWMAC Championships at Wheaton College on Sunday. The Beavers, who finished seventh as a team, featured two top-ten finishes on the final day of competition. The 2007 NEWMAC Diver of the Year, Paradis placed third in the preliminaries with a score of 436.45. He then posted a score of 476.35 in the finals on Sunday night, placing him second overall behind conference champion Brian Sobel of Springfield (512.25). As a result, Paradis earned All-Conference honors for the second time in his outstanding career. [+]
