Sophomore Cam Caruso (St. Charles, Ill.) came off the bench to score three goals as the Babson mens lacrosse team outscored Salve Regina University 8-3 in the second half and recorded a 12-9 win in non-conference action Tuesday afternoon at Gaudet Field. Junior Tom Cykana (Minnetonka, Minn.) and first-year James Schmidt (Shelburne, Vt.) each potted three goals for the Beavers, who snapped a two-game losing skid and improved to 2-3 on the season. First-year junior attack Grant Albertson scored his second goal of the game on a pass from sophomore midfielder Salieu Bolivar with 18.7 seconds left to give the Eastern Connecticut State University (1-1) mens lacrosse team a 12-11 victory over Babson College (1-3) on Wednesday afternoon. First-year Alex Patinkin scored a game-high five goals in defeat for the Beavers, while junior Armand Wilson scored to cap a late 6-2 run that tied the game with just under a minute left. [+]

The Babson College mens lacrosse team dropped a hard contested matchup to visiting Union College Saturday afternoon, 8-5, in a nonconference game at MacDowell Field. The Beavers outshot Union, 38-26 with 18 total shots on net to Unions 15. With the loss, Babson drops to 1-2 on the season while Union improves to 1-1 with their single loss of the season coming to #15 ranked SUNY Geneseo, 10-5.Babson returns to action Wednesday, March 10th when they visit Eastern Connecticut State University for their first away game of the season at 4:00pm.
