Chris Nicastro begins his second season as an assistant men’s lacrosse coach at Babson College in 2017.
Nicastro joined the Beavers after spending the 2016 campaign an assistant coach at Saint Anselm College as the Hawks went 8-6 and earned a Northeast-10 Conference Tournament berth in 2016. In addition to his collegiate coaching experience, he served as a coach with New England Select Lacrosse from 2013-15 and is currently coaching with the New England Pride lacrosse club.
Nicastro has worked full time for the LABBB Educational Collaborative in Arlington as a special education teacher for grades 9-12 since 2015. He also worked as a special education teacher for grades 3-5 at LABBB during the 2014-15 school year, and was a teacher’s aide for the Arlington Public Schools from 2012-14.
A member of the men’s lacrosse team at New England College, Nicastro graduated with a degree in educational studies in 2012. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in special education at Cambridge College.
