THE SERIES
Babson and Daniel Webster will meet for the first time on Saturday afternoon.

SCOUTING THE EAGLES
Daniel Webster (1-7-0) has dropped two straight games after suffering a 6-1 loss at fourth-ranked UMass Boston on Friday night. Sophomore Tanner Todd scored in the second period and classmate Morgan Hudson finished with an astounding 68 saves for the Eagles, who gave up four power play goals and were outshot 74-12 on the night. Sophomore Ryan Murray (5-3-8) and Todd (4-0-4) have each scored twice on the power play, first-year Devin Warfield (1-3-4) is tied for the team lead in assists and sophomore Matt Fitzpatrick has contributed two goals and one assist for three points. Hudson and fellow sophomore Anthony D'Urso have combined to post a 6.25 goals against average and a .859 save percentage on the year.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
No. 14 USCHO.com/No. 13 D3hockey.com Babson (4-1-1) extended its winning streak to four with a 4-2 victory over Southern Maine on Friday night. Sophomore Tommy Munichiello scored twice and junior Rob Devaney added two assists for the Beavers, who struck for four unanswered goals to erase a 2-0 third-period deficit. Devaney (4-5-9) has tallied three power play goals, senior Michael Phillips (3-4-7) has four points over the last two games and Munichiello (3-4-7) enters the day riding a four-game points streak. Sophomore netminders Matt Pompa and Bryan Botcher have combined to post a 2.14 goals against average and a .930 save percentage over the first six games this season.

THE COMEBACKS CONTINUE
The Beavers, who are 3-0-1 when allowing the first goal this season, have trailed in every contest during its five-game unbeaten streak. The Green and White has outscored its foes 12-3 in the third period, which includes a 9-0 margin in its four home games.

LEANING ON THE POWER PLAY
With two more man-advantage goals on Friday, Babson has scored nine times on the power play over its last four games.

STREAKING
Devaney, who was selected as the NEHC Co-Player of the Week on Monday, extended his points streak to six games on Friday and is currently tied for second in the conference in scoring.

SCORCHING AT THE SKATING CENTER
Babson is unbeaten over its last 12 games at home and is 40-4-3 at the Babson Skating Center since the beginning of the 2013-14 campaign.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
The Beavers are 28-3-3 in the month of November going back to 2012.
