Leer, Berto Receive ECAC East All-Academic Accolades
The ECAC East men's ice hockey league announced its 11th annual All-Academic Team last week, and among the 81 individuals who received honors were a pair of Babson College student-athletes. Junior Matt Leer (Edina, Minn.) received ECAC East All-Academic recognition for the third straight season, while sophomore Connor Berto (Lake Forest, Ill.) garnered All-Academic honors for the second year in a row.

Hoban, Driscoll Earn ECAC East Postseason Honors
The ECAC East released its 2012 postseason honors this past Friday, and Babson College senior captain Mike Hoban (Medfield, Mass.) and first-year Mike Driscoll (Milton, Mass.) were both recognized. Hoban was named to the All-Conference Second Team, while Driscoll garnered a spot on the league's All-Rookie Team.

Southern Maine Upsets Ice Hockey, 2-1, In ECAC East Quarterfinals
Senior captain Dan Rautenberg scored two goals in the second period to propel the sixth-seeded University of Southern Maine Huskies to a 2-1 victory over third-seeded Babson College in the quarterfinal round of the 2012 ECAC East Men’s Ice Hockey Tournament at the Babson Skating Center on Saturday night.

Basketball, Hockey Teams Set To Host Conference Tournament Games
Babson will host a bevy of postseason games this week, as men's basketball, ice hockey, and women's basketball all earned home seeds in their respective conference tournaments. Paid admission will be required for all postseason contests, although Babson students will once again be admitted free with a valid OneCard courtesy of the Undergraduate School.

Ice Hockey Locks Up Home Seed In League Tourney With 4-1 Win At Saint Michael's
The Babson College ice hockey team locked up the third seed in the upcoming ECAC East Tournament with a 4-1 victory over host Saint Michael's College on Friday night. Senior Andrew Peabody finished with 26 saves in the win, which improved the Beavers' record to 6-1-3 over their last 10 games.

Bonazza's OT Game-Winner Lifts Hockey past UNE, 4-3
Babson College freshman Andrew Bonazza (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia) scored the game-winning goal just 44 seconds into overtime to lift the host Beavers to a 4-3 victory over the visiting University of New England in an ECAC East men’s ice hockey matchup on Saturday afternoon at the Babson Skating Center. With the win, the Beavers improved to 8-12-3 overall and 8-5-3 in the conference, while the Nor’Easters dipped to 3-17-2 overall and 1-15-0 in ECAC East play.

Sophomore Shayne Anderson scored his first collegiate goal with just over a minute left in overtime to propel the Babson College men's ice hockey team to a huge 4-3 victory over host UMass-Boston in a matchup of ECAC East travel partners on Friday night. With the win, the Beavers extended their season-long unbeaten streak to four games while improving to 6-11-1 overall and 6-4-1 in league play. Meanwhile, the Beacons saw their four-game win streak come to a halt as they fell to 9-7-2 overall and 5-6-0 in the ECAC East.

Based out of Waltham, MA, GreenerU partners with colleges and universities throughout the country to increase energy efficiency, reduce carbon footprints, and save money by introducing and implementing comprehensive programs and facility solutions across campus.
