Bruce Ginsberg begins his eighth season as an assistant baseball coach at Babson College in 2016.
A native of Framingham, Ginsberg's responsibilities include working with the infielders and recruiting for the Beavers. He helped the program win 25 games in 2011, good for the third most in school history, and saw the 2016 squad record 24 victories and reach the NEWMAC Tournament final.
A two-sport standout in baseball and football at Framingham North High School, Ginsberg was a four-year starter at the middle infield positions at Bates College, captaining the Bobcats during his senior season. He also played in the Boston Park League following his college career, and was actively involved in youth sports and coaching AAU baseball.
Ginsberg was a celebrated entrepreneur as CEO/Founder of Bennett Footwear Group, one of the largest privately-held footwear companies in the U.S. In 2005, he sold the company to Brown Shoe. Ginsberg currently resides in Westwood with his wife, Kris. They have three children.
