The Babson baseball team's triple play versus MIT was selected first on SportsCenter's Top Plays. With runners on second and third in the top of the seventh inning, Beaver pitcher Ken Rotunno stepped off the mound to grab the one hopper and fire a strike to first baseman Jack Halpin. Halpin then threw to second baseman Adam Ayala for the tag before Ayala went to shortstop Brian McHale, whose throw from third base to catcher Sean Harrington narrowly beat the runner at the plate to complete the three-out play.
