    The New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference recently announced its Academic All-Conference honorees, and seven Babson College athletes received recognition. Senior Alexa Untermann and junior Charlotte Margel represented the women's team, while junior Chris Pierce, junior Jake Williams, junior Scott Worth, sophomore Will Hallock, and sophomore Nate Kolman garnered selections for the men's team.

    The Babson College track and field teams sent eight individuals and two relay teams to the 2012 NCAA Division III New England Championships at MIT on Saturday. Although neither squad received a team score, the Beavers did break two more school records and had another athlete qualify for the upcoming ECAC Championships.

    Junior Charlotte Margel became just the second woman in Babson College track and field history to win an individual conference title as she led the Beavers at the 2012 New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championships at Smith College on Saturday. The women's team finished eighth at the competition, while the Babson men placed sixth.

    In addition to the top-seeded women’s lacrosse team hosting its conference semifinals and finals this weekend, three other Babson teams will take part in postseason play on Saturday. Third-seeded baseball will serve as co-host of the 2012 New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Tournament along with top-seeded Wheaton, second-seeded softball heads to top-seeded Springfield for a huge winners’ bracket matchup, and the track and field teams will travel to Smith for the 2012 NEWMAC Championships.

    The Babson College track and field teams got off to the finest starts in program history on Saturday, as the Beavers set three school records, just missed several others, and had six individual postseason qualifiers at the Jerry Gravel Classic at Westfield State College. The women's squad placed ninth out of 14 scoring teams, while the men took 11th out of 15 scoring institutions.
