2013 Babson College Athletics Hall of Fame Nomination Form

Before submitting your nomination for the Babson Athletics Hall of Fame, please carefully review the following eligibility guidelines:

To be eligible for Hall of Fame consideration, an individual must satisfy at least one (1) of the following criteria:

- was a student-athlete with a minimum of two full seasons of participation in varsity competition for Babson and who graduated from Babson at least five (5) years prior to the beginning of the academic year in which the induction ceremony is held (in this instance, the nominee must have graduated in or prior to the spring of 2007);

- has made exceptional contributions to Babson athletics, even though the person may not be or ever was directly associated with Babson College;

- was in some way affiliated with Babson athletics as a student or staff member, regardless of athletics achievement or impact during his or her Babson career, and who subsequently achieved outstanding success in some capacity in high school, college, amateur, or professional athletics; or

- has served Babson College with distinction as a member of the faculty, staff, administration, or another division of the College for a minimum of ten (10) years and who has had a direct and genuinely significant impact on Babson Athletics.

Also, please note the following:
- An outstanding career as a Babson athlete or other eligible person who has left Babson must be followed by an exemplary career in the individual's occupation, reflecting favorably on the individual and Babson College.

- No member of the Selection Committee is eligible for consideration.

- Selection criteria may be waived when extraordinary circumstances warrant. A waiver may be granted only by unanimous vote of the Selection Committee.


NOMINATIONS ARE DUE BY JULY 15, 2012. The next induction ceremony will take place on April 12, 2013.
