Babson Launches Redesigned and Fully Responsive Athletics Website

BABSON PARK, Mass.—The Babson College Department of Athletics and Recreation in conjunction with PrestoSports launched the newly designed and fully responsive website on Friday.

The website provides optimal viewing across a wide range of devices, from mobile phones to desktop computers. The new platform remains a source of news and information for the department and the College's 22 varsity programs with an increased social media presence and integrated video content.

"We appreciate our continued partnership with PrestoSports and thank the folks on their team as well as on our athletics and marketing staffs for their contributions in delivering Babson a top-notch website," said Associate Athletics Director for Strategic Communications Scott Dietz. "We are excited to share the enhanced site with our student-athletes, alumni, families and friends, donors and supporters, faculty and staff, and prospects. The site provides a tremendous opportunity to showcase who we are as a department while capturing the many wonderful things our student-athletes, alums and coaches are doing."

Complete with major visual improvements and overall website functionality, delivers a user-friendly experience with expanded features that include a new scoreboard section, a search option, more top stories and headlines, a large composite calendar highlighting upcoming events, and a weather widget.

Users also have direct access to individual team pages for items such as rosters, schedules, stats and news from the sports dropdown menu. Additionally, both the homepage and individual sport pages feature video tabs that are powered by playlists on Babson Athletics' YouTube channel.

In addition to rosters, schedules, statistics and news, the website continues to show recaps, player and coach bios, live video and statistics links, and historical information. Also prominent on the homepage is the new Babson Recreation and Athletics Center (BRAC) and Babson's new official online spirit store

"PrestoSports is thrilled to be extending its partnership with Babson College," said Ted Bardach, Vice President at PrestoSports. "It's an exciting time for the College and it's been great working with Assoc. AD Scott Dietz and his staff on the revamped athletics website. The fully-responsive has everything fans want, and takes advantage of some of our industry-leading features. Fans will enjoy the new featured content on the home page and clean design!"
